The Central Pa Vipers Womens Professional Football team earned their second
victory of the season this afternoon on their home field (War Veterans
Memorial). The VIPERS beat the Cape Fear Thunder 30 - 6. Today was the
final HOME game of the season for the VIPERS.

Game Highlights

5 Touchdowns

Kelli Jordan # 83 with 4 Touchdowns
Shannon Tee # 12 with 1 Touchdown

2 interceptions by Shannon Tee # 12

No successful two point conversions

The Central PA Vipers were coached today by Lonnie DeVan. The VIPERS are
owned by Lindsay Snowden & Kerry Wisher.

The Vipers final game of the season will be away in Connecticut Saturday,
June 20, 2009.

managed and coached Independent Womens Football League team for the women
of Central Pennsylvania. The Vipers believe there are no limits-no
boundaries- to what women can achieve on and off of the football field.
The Vipers encourage physical and mental growth through keen competition.
All Vipers are required to conduct themselves with the core values of the
organization: Sportsmanship, Integrity, Loyalty, Courage, Strength, and
Dedication. The Vipers also believe that giving back to the local
community is an important part of its mission, and as such we will work to
promote charitable work throughout the Viper community.

The Independent Women’s Football League is pleased to announce a new fan contest for the 2009 season. This season fans will choose the IWFL MVP of each game! Every fan texting their choice will receive IWFL wallpaper for their phone and will be entered in our fan contest. Five randomly drawn lucky fans will win a $100 cash prize to be awarded at the 2009 World Championship game. Those five lucky fans will also have a shot at winning the $25,000 grand prize and $10,000 for their favorite IWFL player!

Each IWFL Game MVP will be announced on Friday following the games, so fans have plenty of time to vote!

Standard texting rates apply each time you vote.
No purchase necessary. To place your vote without texting send a 3 by 5 inch card with the title IWFL MVP VOTE to PO BOX 1844 Round Rock, TX 78680. All cards must be handwritten (computer generated cards will not be accepted) and received by the Friday following the game you are voting on. All mailed votes must include the name of the team, jersey number of the player, game date, and phone number of sender.
IWFL employees and their family members are not eligible for cash prizes.
